I have been using CloudFlare since late June and so far I have been impressed. I like the fact that I can stop many of the malicious attacks against my blog, and determine the course of action to take with different attacks. The increase in performance is a bonus.

I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your impressions from HostingCon 2011. One of the reasons why I switched to Incapsula after being with CloudFlare was exactly what you said, they offer for free what CloudFlare presently charges for. Performancewise, in speeding up my site, I found them to be more or less equal, at least based on how both worked on my own site.
